Beauties warm up under glittering lights.

AS PART of the New Year celebrations, i-City in Section 7, Shah Alam playedhost to the participants of the 14th Miss Tourism International 2010 World Finals.
Winner of the Miss Tourism International Nathalie Dekker from Netherlands who was together with 36 other beauties thrilled the crowd in a 35-minute catwalk.
Other winners Miss Tourism Global International Stephany Gonzalez from Venezuela, Miss Dream Girl of the Year Borgoljin Bayarsaikan from Mongolia, Miss Cosmopolitan International Barbara Salvador from the Philippines and Miss Tourism Metropolitan Holly Anne Viseer from Australia greeted the crowd and walked around i-City admiring the energy efficient decorative lights.

All the beauties were treated to a steamboat dinner and taken to the SnoWalk where ice sculptures have been created with ice through the skilled hands of ice-carvers from Harbin in China. SnoWalk will soon have the snow flakes falling feature from February onwards once the machine is brought in from Korea.
Dekker said the whole concept of the digital city was beautiful and the idea could catapult Shah Alam into a tourist destination.
“I love i-City, it’s just beautiful with the millions of digital lights. It’s like a fairy land,” said the 21-year-old law student at Utrecht University.
