Awarded Second Place in Landscape

Ring 'Round the Rosy, 12x12" pastel by S'zanne Reynolds

I'm so pleased to announce that my pastel, Ring 'Round the Rosy, placed second in the landscape category at the Austin Pastel Society's annual juried show today. It's quite an honor as there were many other very fine landscape paintings in the exhibit.

In addition to sketchbooks and other pastel surfaces, I received a gift certificate towards my favorite pastels by Terry Ludwig...I can't wait to order additional new colors to paint my next cloudscape.

Hari pertama Miss UNiverse Malaysia 2012 registration day juga menyelitkan sesi interview bersama Deborah Henry. I ingatkan, it's a taboo to ask a girl her age, tapi ada la sorang budak pompuan antara penonton yang hadir, agak terkejut dihulurkan mikrofon untuk bertanya soalan, terus bertanaya "How Old Are You?", Debby hanya mampu tersenyum geli hati, tapi nak tak nak kena jugak ler jawab, "my real age is ...." jawab Debby.

Deborah made a grand entrance at The Spring Kuching last Saturday and was greeted with claps and cheers from the crowds. Most of the shoppers were stunned to see Debby's sudden appear from nowhere. Some of the photos below were taken from near the mall's entrance and at the MUMO's registration area. With the right make and hairdo and decked with the latest creation from Farah Khan's label, she's just as amazing as her own self, DEBORAH HENRY.
